The Local Government Leadership Academy (LGLA) is a leadership development initiative that serves local government and First Nations elected officials and senior administrators throughout British Columbia by providing opportunities to develop the competencies needed to effectively manage and lead BC’s communities.
We are seeking engagement of dedicated volunteers to join our Board of Directors.
Board of Directors
Three (3) director-at-large positions are coming vacant following 2 resignations, and one (1) incumbent is expected to stand for re-appointment to their third term.
The initial term of appointment for directors-at-large is one year, with the option of an additional one-year renewal at the end of that first term, and two year terms thereafter. Directors serve on the LGLA Board without remuneration but may be paid expenses incurred by them in accordance with their duties under Board-approved policies.
